You may wonder, "where do my fees go?"  Following is a summary of how fees are distributed:

What our IFUW contribution helps pay for:

IFUW works to empower women and girls through life long education for leadership, decision making and peace. Our members are committed to improving the status of women and girls, and to enabling women to effect positive change for peaceful, sustainable futures.

                                  International Advocacy

IFUW has teams of UN representatives who work actively to ensure that priority issues are taken into consideration in international debate. Because of
IFUW's special consultative status, these representatives have an official presence at the meetings and conferences where new international conventions
and agreements are drafted and adopted. There they are able to highlight members' concerns through oral and written statements, special presentations
and intense discussions with individual government delegates. Special areas of concern are status of women, peace, health and the environment.

                                  IFUW Conferences

Every three years IFUW holds a conference with all members of the associates welcomed as delegates. This is in my opinion is similar to our National AGM but offers not only the business of IFUW, resolutions debate but the opportunity to have women from around the world showcase their research on many areas of interest. The next conference will be Aug 16-21, 2013 in Istanbul.
