Many thanks to each and every one of you who has contributed to the success of the 2015 Shoebox Project for Women in Shelters. We are in awe of the beautiful boxes we received and your success in engaging family, friends, clubs, organizations and companies to fill shoeboxes, donate products, contribute financially and of course knit headbands!

We have delivered 2,400 shoeboxes to 19 shelters and outreach programs from Brantford to Toronto. Because of your generosity and compassion Christmas will be brighter for many women. Below are the shelters we supported in 2015:
  • Women of Cawthra Road (Peel)
  • Peel Family Shelter (Peel)
  • Armagh House (Peel)
  • Family Transition Place (Peel)
  • Family Resource Life Centre (Peel)
  • Interim Place North (Peel)
  • Interim Place South (Peel)
  • Salvation Army Women’s Centre (Peel)
  • Sistering (Toronto)
  • Salvation Army Cornerstone (Peel)
  • The Good Shepherd (Hamilton)
  • The Native Women's Shelter (Hamilton)
  • Interval House (Hamilton)
  • Inasmuch House (Hamilton)
  • Phoenix Place (Hamilton)
  • Weber Core (Hamilton)
  • Nova Vita Shelter (Brantford)
  • Ganhohkwasra Family Assault Support Services (Ohsweken)
  • Three Oaks (Belleville)

Thanks to your generosity there will be thousands of women in shelters this holiday season knowing that someone cares and is thinking about them in their time of sadness and need. We couldn't have exceeded our goals and extended our reach without you!

We look forward to your support in 2016 and wish you all the best for a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely,
Jacqueline Findlay and Veronica Marsden
