United Nations Commission on the Status of Women
A new edition of the CFUW News & Updates focusing on the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women 58 (UN CSW), held from March 10 to March 21, 2014, is now available by clinking the following link: CFUW News & Updates: Special UNCSW Edition
The UN CSW is a functional commission of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). It is the principal global policy-making body dedicated exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women. CFUW sent a delegation to attend the Commission and to host a Parallel Session with Women Graduates-USA entitled "Universal Primary Education by 2020: In Peril for Afghan Girls?".
