RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN NEW BRUNSWICK REGARDING ABORTION RIGHTS

The Executive of CFUW Mississauga urges members to learn about recent developments in New Brunswick regarding abortion rights and the closure of the Morgentaler Clinic in Fredericton. Please read the  article in CFUW News April 26, 2014, including the letter from CFUW National president Susan Murphy which explains the harm being done to women of that province by ending their reproductive rights in federal law.  Under the heading "Take Action for New Brunswick Women”we recommend that you consider writing to your MP and /or signing the petition put forward by the Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada.  The petition is item 3 under “Take Action” and is sponsored by change.org, that reliable group which gathered signatures in support of Malala.
